The Creative Content Lead is a vital creative role within our Uganda marketing team, responsible for developing tech-savvy, captivating content for posters, videos, and digital campaigns that showcase Caystard Group’s transformative IT solutions. This position demands a visionary thinker who excels at transforming complex technical services into engaging, accessible messages that resonate with diverse audiences, from C-suite executives to consumers. Working closely with our graphics and design team, you will lead campaign ideation, craft distinctive brand messaging, and ensure seamless integration of visuals and content. This role emphasizes creative direction and visual storytelling, offering an opportunity to spark excitement about technology and elevate Caystard Group’s brand in East Africa’s vibrant market.

Responsibilities

  • Campaign Ideation: Develop original campaign concepts, taglines, and slogans that highlight Caystard Group’s software development, cloud solutions, AI innovations, and cybersecurity services, tailored for healthcare, banking, and e-commerce audiences.
  • Content Creation: Produce concise, high-impact content for visual media, including posters, video scripts, social media posts, and digital advertisements, ensuring clarity, creativity, and brand consistency.
  • Technical Simplification: Translate complex IT services into engaging, accessible messages that communicate value to non-technical stakeholders, driving interest and action.
  • Creative Collaboration: Partner with graphic designers, videographers, and marketing strategists to align messaging with compelling visuals, delivering a cohesive and impactful brand experience.
  • Brand Differentiation: Create unique content angles that position Caystard Group as a thought leader in IT innovation, distinguishing our brand in a competitive market.
  • Local Relevance: Incorporate Uganda’s cultural nuances and market trends into content to connect with local and East African audiences, while maintaining global brand standards.
  • Project Management: Oversee content development timelines and deliverables, ensuring campaigns are executed on schedule and aligned with marketing objectives.
  • Trend Integration: Stay informed on tech trends, digital marketing innovations, and creative best practices to infuse fresh, relevant ideas into campaigns.

Requirements

  • 1–5 years of professional experience in content creation, branding, advertising, or creative marketing, preferably within technology, IT consulting, or related industries.
  • Proven ability to craft catchy, concise, and impactful content, with a portfolio showcasing campaign concepts, taglines, video scripts, or social media content.
  • Exceptional creative thinking and a track record of turning complex ideas into engaging, accessible messages that captivate diverse audiences.
  • Strong understanding of technology trends, with the ability to create content that highlights innovations in software, cloud, AI, or cybersecurity.
  • Experience collaborating with graphic designers, videographers, or creative teams to align messaging with visuals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for crafting attention-grabbing short copy (e.g., slogans, ad headlines, social media posts).
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms (e.g., Meta, LinkedIn, Twitter/X) and content management systems.
  • Knowledge of Uganda’s cultural and market dynamics, with the ability to create locally relevant content; fluency in English required, proficiency in Luganda or Swahili a strong advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, journalism, or a related field; relevant creative certifications or portfolio work may substitute.
  • Bonus: Experience in B2B marketing, IT or tech branding, or working with healthcare, banking, or e-commerce sectors.
